The plates of all universal blades include expansion slots that make it possible to absorb deformations due to centrifugal force and increase in temperature of the steel during working. By remaining straight, circular blades allow a more precise cut and longer life.
This coating, composed of PTFE aluminium flakes, spreads the heat created by the rubbing of the wood during working and disperses it over the entire body. By preventing overheating of the body, the mechanical characteristics of the blade remain unchanged, and so do its cutting properties. The high content of PTFE reduces to a minimum both friction and adhesion of wood resins, thus ensuring better feeding with reduced power.
The original chip limiter on the body of the blade limits the possibility of dangerous kicks due to over-feeding. It is especially useful when using circular saw blades with manual feed or when cutting knotty wood.
Thanks to the SinterHIP procedure and the use of only micro-grain carbides, we are able to braze an extremely hard material onto our blades which is at the same time tough, thus ensuring longer life regardless of the material being worked.
